About John Royce
John has been singing and entertaining audiences since primary school where he started performing to his school mates at the age of 5, appearing with school choirs in many competitions where he often took solo lead.
Forming his first band whilst at Grammar school he has continued to perform in the pubs and clubs all over the North of England ever since. John sings many genres of music, from Classic Rock and Pop to Country covering songs from the late 50s and beyond. He brings his unique singing style and voice now to entertain residents in retirement and care homes whilst continuing to work the Northern Club circuit and working with other bands and projects.

Recently John has been chosen to front the legendary North East live band "The Delmonts". Originally formed way back in 1959, and still featuring original band member Colin Draper on Bass guitar. The Delmonts have a huge following for their "100% live" covers of Rock n Roll songs from the 50s and 60s as well as some classic Pop songs from the 70s. The Delmonts are a hugely popular band who work all over the UK. When asked about being chosen to be the "Frontman" and Lead Singer John said "Whilst Rock n Roll isn't something I've performed a lot of, to be asked to join such a successful and popular band is one of the highlights of my singing career, I'm really looking forward to meeting their fans once the new live show hits the road"
